Magnetics

Version 1.5 - Magnetics is here!

Version 1.5 has been released, with the ability to snap windows edges to the side of any display (or the dock), or to snap window edges to a 'virtual grid' of your choosing. I call this: Magnetics. The virtual grid can be setup independently on a per-screen basis.

There's also the ability to use the 'Function' key as one of the keyboard shortcuts - making the life of laptop owners a little bit easier. Last but certainly not least there's yet more speed increases in the code, which should translate to a smoother user experience overall.

Download, check the new magnetics capability out - and happy Zooomin!

Version 1.4.5 - Magnetics / Function Key (its coming along)

I am slowly getting the magnetics functionality prepared for release. This release also contains support for the 'func' key on laptops.

The magnetics system works brilliantly except for the edge-matching engine on non-primary screens (which is driving me a little nuts). However, progress is being made. If you are interested in a copy for beta testing - ping me a note, I'm more than happy to fire a binary in your direction. Here's a taste of the what it'll look like in the preferences display:
