Quick Guide - Documentation
So how does this work? The principal idea is simple: 1. hold a key combination, 2. move the mouse.1. Move windows around very quickly
Hold down the defined modifier for the move command (in the pic below its Shift + Apple), and start moving your mouse - the window under the mouse will follow - easy.
2. Resize windows effortlessly
Same concept - hold down the resize modifier (in the pic below its Shift + Option/Alt), and start moving your mouse - the window resizes according to the mouse movement you make.
3. Snap windows to other windows
Do you like lining things up properly? Try the Magnetics feature, it lets you 'snap' your window move/resize operations up against the edges of any other visible window - and you can also impose a grid of your choosing on top of everything.
4. Zooom in and out
Hold down either the move or resize modifier, and you can double-click to effect a standard zoom operation - windows will expand and contract as if you'd pressed their little green button on the top left of their title bar.
5. Automatically bring windows to the front
If you come from an X11 background, you'll likely use this one - the auto-raise feature. Enable this feature, and simply by moving the mouse around, then waiting a defined interval (20 milliseconds is the setting below), the window under the mouse will be made the front most window. Excellent when you can't be bothered clicking everywhere.
Update: the best way of seeing what Zooom/2 can do, is to use it's Interactive Tutorial, just download and run the package installer - and the tutorial will run automatically.
